PENSACOLA, Fla. (Feb. 19, 2026) Rear Adm. Greg Huffman, commander of Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), is piped aboard during the 2025 Military Instructor of the Year (MIOY) award ceremony onboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., Feb. 19. The MIOY ceremony recognized Navy and Marine Corps instructors who have displayed outstanding instructional and leadership performance across the NETC domain. Huffman welcomed the awardees, who were selected from more than 7,500 instructors for their dedication to transforming civilians into battle-ready warfighters.
