Fort Drum Directorate of Public Works employees sort out a truck load of recyclable material inside the Solid Waste Transfer Station. Recyclable and solid waste bins throughout post have labels that show what materials go into which bin. If these instructions are followed, then DPW staff can more efficiently process the materials and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.
