U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Charles Bolton, Eighteenth Air Force commander, addresses the men and women of the 89th Airlift Wing during an all call at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Feb. 4, 2026. During the all call, Bolton reinforced Air Mobility Command and 18th AF priorities and recognized AMC award winners. The 18th AF command team visited the 89th Airlift Wing and integrated with Airmen to better understand how the SAM Fox wing advances capabilities to provide unmatched global airlift, logistics, aerial port and communications support, enabling the President, Vice President, cabinet officials, combatant commanders and other senior leaders to project U.S. diplomacy and deterrence worldwide.
