A firefighter assigned to Wyoming Air National Guard Crash Fire Rescue maintained control of a water hose connected to a C-130 Hercules aircraft assigned to the 153rd Airlift Wing during a Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System ground test at the Wyoming Air National Guard Base in Cheyenne, Wyo., Feb. 10, 2026. Fire Emergency Services personnel supplied water to the aircraft so that MAFFS crew members were able to pressurize the system with air to evaluate performance and ensure proper operation prior to wildfire season.
