HAVERTOWN, Pa (Jan. 13, 2026) Remediation work continues at the Havertown PCP (Pentachlorophenol) Superfund site in Havertown, Pennsylvania, a polluted former railroad and lumberyard with contaminated groundwater. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are working together to remediate the contaminated materials at the site. They have recently built a new water treatment plant on the location to support these efforts. (U.S. Army Photo)
