U.S. Air Force Lt. Col Justin Childers, pilot, and Capt. Michael Mendoza, co-pilot, 169th Airlift Squadron, 182d Airlift Wing, Peoria, Illinois, flies the C-130H Hercules in formation behind C-130J Super Hercules, 37th Airlift Squadron, 86th Airlift Wing, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The aircraft are participating in an integrated mission sortie level 3 during exercise Hussar Saber at 33rd Air Base, Poland, on Sept. 17, 2025. The bilateral exercise is designed to build and maintain unit mission readiness and promote interoperability among active duty, Air National Guard, and Polish forces.
