    Siah, a puppy belonging to one of the crewmembers of Coast Guard Station Tillamook Bay, makes her rounds among the crew, June 7, 2013. Station Tillamook Bay is one of only twenty Surf Stations in the U.S. Coast Guard. The bar at the entrance of the bay is one of the most treacherous bars on the Oregon coast. The station was established in 1908, with Surfman Robert Farley as the station keeper. After relocating the original station house to Garibaldi, the present moorings and the station facility was completed June 4, 1982.
