Rear naked choke holds are effective in getting your opponent to submit. Soldiers learn and practice this hold during a class of Jiujitsu self-defense movements as part of their physical training program at the ASA Fort Dix Combatives building. Instructors from Fighters United MMA in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, volunteered their time to instruct Soldiers from the U.S. Army Reserve's 99th Readiness Division in the basics of Jiujitsu.
