Soldiers assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 304th Expeditionary Signal Battalion–Enhanced, and 41st Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade, compete in the brigade’s quarterly Best Squad Competition, Feb. 2–5, 2026. The multi-day event tested squads on physical fitness, tactical proficiency and technical expertise through a 12 mile ruck march, Army Combat Fitness Test, land navigation, Engagement Skills Trainer M4 range, medical lanes, knowledge board and expeditionary signal battalion squad lanes including movement, radio operations and weapons function checks.
