U.S. Air Force aircrew flight equipment specialists, assigned to the 165th Operations Group, 165th Airlift Wing (AW), Georgia Air National Guard, offload from a C-130J Super Hercules to conduct chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) decontamination procedures during an employment exercise at North Auxiliary Field, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, Feb. 7, 2026. During this exercise, 165 AW Airmen deployed to a simulated forward operating base to demonstrate mission readiness and the ability to operate in an austere, degraded environment.
