U.S. Soldiers assigned to 837th Transportation Battalion offload containers and upload vehicles and equipment at the Busan, South Korea, port Feb. 1, 2026. With the help of U.S. Army Transportation, U.S. Transportation Command conducts Operation Turbo Fusion, which demonstrates how the military integrates multiple modes of transportation to move cargo around the globe, even in contested environments. 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, equipment and containers were offloaded while vehicles from 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, were loaded onto the ship. 2SBCT falls under the 2nd Infantry Division contingent at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, and is replacing 1SBCT, 4ID, as the new U.S. Army Korea Rotational Force that will train with the Republic of Korea Army in support of the ROK-US alliance and contribute to readiness in the Indo-Pacific region.
