Mario Rios-Alzaga, first sergeant of 4th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, operates the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) during Ivy Sting 4 on Fort Carson, Colorado, Feb. 2, 2026. The ATAK enabled Next Generation Command and Control (NCG2), which provided Soldiers real-time locations, mission graphics, and targeting data, which enhanced situational awareness and lethality at the tactical level.
