Through a FEMA-assigned mission, USACE is working closely with the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency to identify eligible facilities requiring temporary emergency power, helping communities restore critical infrastructure—such as hospitals, fire stations, warming centers, and other state-run facilities—as quickly as possible.
