Lt. Gen. William “Butch” Graham, 56th Chief of Engineers and commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, met with members of the Task Force Temporary Power team mobilized to Grenada, MS, in support of the 2026 Winter Storm. Working with the State of Mississippi and Federal Emergency Management Agency, this task force has installed 21 generators at critical infrastructure sites across Northern Mississippi since mobilizing on Jan. 26.
The Task Force Temporary Power team is comprised of military and civilian volunteers from across the Corps of Engineers who respond to during national disasters. USACE serves as the lead agency to respond with public works and engineering support and to coordinate long-term infrastructure recovery.
