U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Brian Acedo, a network transport technician with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, I Marine Expeditionary Force, establishes a network inside a MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced), 11th MEU, on the flight deck of Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), in the Pacific Ocean, Jan. 30, 2026. A network on the move provides battlefield commanders with secure, mobile command and control from an MV-22 Osprey, enabling real-time information access and rapid order dissemination. The 11th MEU is currently underway aboard the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations conducting integrated training that enhances lethality and warfighting readiness.
