(Jan. 29, 2026) – The Honorable Derrick Anderson, Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, presents the Navy Club of the United States Military Excellence Award to Airman Henrry Hernandez Escobar during pass-in-review onboard U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Jan. 29, 2026. Training is approximately nine weeks and all enlistees in the U.S. Navy begin their career at the command. More than 40,000 recruits train annually at the Navy’s only boot camp.
