Modernizing the workforce is just as critical as modernizing equipment and technology. The depot hosted leaders from the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Institute, Valdos Consulting, Army Materiel Command, and Army Aviation and Missile Command to assess CCAD’s current talent pool. Supported by the DoD Manufacturing Technology Program, this study identified the skills needed to bridge the gap between our current workforce and emerging technologies. By touring our Blue Light scanning, 3D printing, and Non-Destructive Testing areas, the depot has forged strong relationships that will drive future collaboration- It’s all about reputation, relationships, and results. Particularly, in an increasingly complex global environment, CCAD remains a critical component in sustaining the Army’s readiness against acute threats worldwide.
