U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the Joint Multinational Training Group–Ukraine, Task Force Saber, Unmanned Aircraft Systems Innovation Team conduct unmanned aircraft systems training with Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, at Grafenwöhr Training Area, Germany, Jan. 28–29, 2026. The training focused on the employment of unmanned aircraft systems to support tactical tasks, situational awareness, and decision-making at the Soldier and small-unit level. This training supports the continued development of warfighting skills and unit readiness through a structured progression of unmanned aircraft systems instruction. Joint Multinational Training Group–Ukraine provides training and advisory support to strengthen operational effectiveness and the long-term development of partner force capabilities through innovation and readiness. Under the guidance of U.S. European Command, U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and Security Assistance Group–Ukraine, the 7th Army Training Command and Joint Multinational Training Group–Ukraine lead training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Grafenwöhr.
