    Portsmouth Naval Shipyard

The Honorable Brendan P. Rogers, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations, and Environment visited Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) on Jan. 29, 2026. Honorable Rogers met with shipyard leadership and toured base facilities, including ongoing construction at the Multi-Mission Dry Dock 1 modernization project. As America’s leader in attack submarine maintenance, repair, and modernization, PNSY plays a critical role in the Navy’s Foundry, Fleet, and Fight priorities by delivering first-time quality service—on time and on budget—to the fleet, ensuring warfighters are battle-ready when called upon. The Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations and Environment directly supports the mission, the warfighter, and their families.
