Sailors including Student Naval Aviators from Training Air Wing (TRAWING) 4 kicked off Navy Week Rio Grande Valley 2026 by honoring our nation’s flag during the national anthem before the Rip City Remix–Rio Grande Valley Vipers NBA G League matchup on January 24, 2026. Rio Grande 2026 is a week-long outreach event that includes a series of performances, educational events, and service projects across the Texas cities of Mission, McAllen, Edinburg and Brownsville.
