U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 352, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, secure an M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System assigned to 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, during a HIMARS rapid infiltration at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, Jan. 23, 2026. A HIRAIN was conducted on MCAS Camp Pendleton to help maintain mission readiness by simulating a mock scenario of identifying a target, seizing key terrain, inserting HIMARS, assisting in destroying the target and returning back to a secure location.
