Mountford, deputy commanding general of readiness for V Corps, visits the command teams of 3rd Division Sustainment Brigade, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade and U.S. Army Garrison Poland at 33rd Air Base Powidz, Poland to inspect improvements to Soldier living conditions and observe efforts to expand the Logistics Support Area (LSA) in support of readiness and quality of life on January 21, 2026. As U.S. Army Garrison Poland continues its mission to support a permanent U.S. military presence in Poland, the transition from Initial Operational Capability to Fully Operational Capability marks a significant milestone in its development.
