U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Paul Harper, a combat engineer with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, opens a box of M112 demolition blocks during a demolition range on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 7, 2026. The purpose of the range was to maintain and assess the ability of combat engineers attached to the 24th MEU to construct and employ expedient and manufactured demolitions.
