    32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command

    Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 116th Field Artillery Regiment, Florida National Guard and Alpha Battery, 1-141st Field Artillery Regiment, Louisiana National Guard, conduct hands-on training with the Land-based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS) at Fort Bliss, Jan. 22, 2026. 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command prepares units to assume the responsibilities of Task Force Defender, which provides counter-rocket, artillery and mortar, as well as counter-unmanned aerial vehicle capabilities in support of the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
