ZUSHI, Japan (Jan. 22, 2026) — The Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) hosts a monthly cultural exchange club in the Ikego Heights family housing area. This month, Mari Takayama and Mika Nakamura lead a course on "Enjoying Japanese Food at Home". The course started in the classroom where participants learned the names and how to identify specific ingredients. After the session, the group went to a local grocery store to get hands on experience shopping with knowledgable guides. CFAY FFSC’s mission is to enhance operational readiness, strengthen resiliency and quality-of-life in the Forward Deployed Naval Forces by providing customer focused, consistent, and efficient programs and services.
