Gael BernalGarcia, a bulk fuel specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, carries a box of meals ready-to-eat as part of a convoy to deliver hot meals to Marines and Sailors at Grouse Meadows during Mountain Training Exercise 1-26 at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, California, Jan. 18, 2026. The MREs were brought in addition to hot meals. Exercises like MTX 1-26 prove Marines’ ability to provide flexible and responsive combat service support during high intensity combat operations in contested and mountainous terrain.
