A U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules equipped with external fuel tanks assigned to the 317th Airlift Wing taxis before departing for a Maximum Endurance Operation at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Jan. 12, 2026. The MEO enabled the 317th AW to deliver tactical airlift beyond standard reach by flying a C-130J into the Indo-Pacific with minimal fuel stops. The C-130J, C-17 Globemaster III, and KC-46 Pegasus integrated during Exercise Palmetto Reach to enhance interoperability and readiness for future Indo-Pacific operations.
