Under light sedation, a juvenile bald eagle has his talon repaired Oct. 16 in Navarre Florida. Jackson Guard provided assistance to it and another bald eagle after they got tangled together by a barbed fishing lure on Eglin Air Force Base. The three-year-old birds of prey were not injured severely injured, the barbs were removed and they were release back into the wild the same day. (Courtesy image)
