U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Andrew Montpetit, a machine gunner with 3rd Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, gives a safety brief using a M240G/B medium machine gun before a live-fire training event at Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, Jan. 16, 2026.
