U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Andrew Montpetit, a machine gunner with 3rd Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, conducts a safety brief using a M240 medium machine gun during a heavy machine gun weapons package at Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, Jan. 16, 2026.
