U.S. Air Force Col. Christopher Robinson, 81st Training Wing commander, presents a certificate to Staff Sgt. Precious Smith-Butler, 81st Logistics Readiness Squadron passenger travel noncommissioned officer in charge, during the Warrior of the Week presentation at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, Jan. 14, 2026. In her position, she leads the passenger travel section serving approximately 4,000 members annually and manages the centrally billed account, the Defense Travel System, deployments, and permanent change of station travel for permanent party members and technical training students. Smith-Butler also guides members and their families through commercial and military air travel 300 annual leisure exchange tickets for the phase two medical students traveling to leave locations before reporting to their first duty stations.
