Coast Guard Cutter Neah Bay (WTGB 105), a 140-foot ice-breaking tug, assists the motor vessel Lee A. Tregurtha through 6 to 8 inches of brash ice to the Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on Jan. 14, 2026. The Neah Bay assisted and escorted the Tregurtha to the Soo Locks, where it would transit north and remain in port for the winter season.
