Christopher Creaghe, the commanding general for the 1st Mission Support Command, awards a medal to the winning basketball team for the Army of the Caribbean Week's Garita Games 2026, in Cuartel de Ballaja, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Jan. 10, 2026. The Army of the Caribbean Week and Garita Games ‘26 aims to bolster esprit de corps between military personnel and the local community. Events will include 5K fun run and foot march, plena and salsa tournaments, battle of the frequencies and best wrench competitions, dominos tournaments, best squad trials, and more, celebrating athleticism and camaraderie.
