Members of the Mission Partner Environment Council from across the Department of War met Jan. 9, 2026, at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., to address a wide range of topics designed to give participants a better understanding of MPE challenges across the combatant commands and to synchronize the Army’s approach to MPE. Hosted by the Mission Command Center of Excellence and facilitated by MC Transformation Integration Directorate, the MPE Council aims to advance the Army’s commitment to interoperability and reinforce the central role of MPE in the strategy for operating effectively within the joint and coalition force.
