Jon Hopkins, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), receives a volunteer certificate during the 2025 Military Youth of the Year Recognition Ceremony at the installation’s youth and teen center. Military Youth of the Year is a Boys & Girls Clubs of America program recognizing exceptional teens from youth centers on U.S. military installations for leadership, character, service and academics, with the national Military Youth of the Year advancing to compete for the National Youth of the Year title and serving as a spokesperson for military youth.
