U.S. Marines with 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division attached to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) unload concertina wire from a MK28 Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement during a resupply mission to support barrier reinforcement operations in Yuma, Ariz., Dec. 29, 2025. During this mission, the Marines transported approximately 1,300 pounds of concertina wire for application to the southern border barrier. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
