An 822d Base Defense Squadron instructor assigned to the 31st Air Task Force speaks to Airmen at the start of a field training exercise at Ft. Bliss, Texas, Dec. 4, 2025. The exercise united 31 ATF and 31st Combat Air Base Squadron personnel for the first time, allowing over 240 Airmen from two MAJCOMs and five wings to exercise core protection and sustainment tasks, including installation defense, command and control, and force accountability.
