Stoker, an individual material readiness list coordinator with 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, during a promotion ceremony, Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans, Jan. 7, 2025. Stoker became one of the first Marines to laterally transfer to first sergeant through the E-8 redesignation board pilot, a new program within the Marine Corps that allows qualified master sergeants to apply for redesignation as first sergeants.
