21ST TSC HERO OF THE WEEK
Meet Staff Sgt. Robert DiCandia, a 92R parachute rigger, who serves as the aerial delivery shop foreman for the 5th Quartermaster Theater Aerial Delivery Company, 16th Special Troops Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade.
DiCandia managed parachute issuing, receiving, accountability, and overall execution of Falcon Leap 25 for U.S. forces. He expressed the importance of being 100% successful every time, because it could mean someone's life.
He is motivated by his ability to share his knowledge of parachute and cargo rigging with junior-enlisted Soldiers.
