Navy International Programs Office Administration Officer and Flag Writer Lt. Cmdr. Laura Mallory, director, Navy International Programs Office Rear Adm. Joseph Rixey and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Michael Mullen, (Retired), render honors to the U.S. flag during the singing of the National Anthem at Mallory's retirement ceremony at the Women in Military Service For America Memorial in Arlington, Va., June 4. Mallory, a "mustang" or an officer who begins their service as enlisted, retired after 27 years of service.
