Second Year Medical Students from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine and Nursing students from The Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing take part in the annual Antietam Road March. On the march make several stops along the battlefield throughout the day, beginning at the artillery at the National Park visitor’s center, and ending around Burnside Bridge. USU faculty, the National Civil War Medicine Museum staff, and Civil War re-enactors give lessons at stops like the Miller Farm House and Mumma Farm to help explain how military medicine was during the Civil war and how changes that happened because of Antietam molded Military Medicine of today.
