U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Andres Anorga, a satellite transmissions system operator with Headquarters and Service Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, connects a cable for a Lite Sat 1.3m terminal at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 2, 2025. The 1.3 terminal is one of the first terminals to implement the use of medium Earth orbit satellites and provides an additional path of satellite communication with the capacity of supporting forward deployed spoke terminals.
