Less than two months after devastating floods in Central Texas, the Kerrville community came together for the local high school's opening game of the season at Antler Stadium. The Tivy team played in honor of First Responders, but it was our honor to be there and witness families, friends, students and athletes rally under the Friday Night Lights -- with awe-inspiring faith, hope, and unity. From all of us here at the Texas Military Department and Texas National Guard: Thank you, Kerrville. And thanks to our fellow First Responders and partner agencies that were part of the memorable night.
