    11th Marine Expeditionary Unit

U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Andrew Alarcon, right, and Sgt. Joshua Guillen, both water support technicians with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, set up a platoon water purification system during a water filtration operation at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 9, 2025. CLB-11 Marines purified seawater by drawing from a shoreline water point and processing it through pumps, filters, and reverse osmosis systems to support Battalion Landing Team 3/5, 11th MEU, unit level training. The 11th MEU is currently underway aboard the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations conducting integrated training that enhances lethality and warfighting readiness.
