The Mobil Aircraft Fire Training Device is ignited for a training fires exercise at Marine Corps Air Facility on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, Dec. 12, 2025. Training for aircraft fires is an integral part of maintaining readiness for Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Marines in order to prepare them for real life situations they might face by building repetition in set procedures.
