Lance Cpl. Jordan J. Erdmann, a heavy equipment operator and Bismarck, N.D., native with Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, operates a tram during vehicle recovery training at Twentynine Palms, Calif., May 25, 2013. Erdmann used the tram to toss obsolete tactical vehicles into a nearby ravine, where wrecker operators conducted retrieval operations.
