Spc. Eric Wiesner, a Jacksonville, N.C., native, and a driver with Company D, 2nd Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, an Arkansas National Guard unit attached to the 39th Brigade Combat Team, 507th Corps Support Group, 316th Expeditionary Command, makes a final check of his equipment prior to departing for the Jordan border here, June 2. Wiesner was notified by FedEx that he would be activated from the Inactive Ready Reserves to serve with Delta Company in Iraq. With just nine months left on his original contract Wiesner was building foundations for homes when he got the word. "I can't say that I was happy when I first got the word, but it's been good so far," said Wiesner
