MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif, - As part of the Community Salutes event series, Mr. Van Morris, Army Reserve Ambassador Jim Bernet, and local recruiters had an opportunity to share with the 63rd Readiness Division leadership on their community engagements.
JROTC cadet Nathan Winchell also had the opportunity to hear about what the Army Reserve can offer as an option as he graduates high school this year. MG Buzzo, commander 63rd Readiness Division, also had the chance to recognize SSG Macapinlac, for her outstanding work at her recruiting station.
One of the ways to bridge the gap between the next generation and understanding what part time service in the Army Reserve looks like, by being present to show what opportunities for future careers and education goals can look like.
