Yorktown, Va. (December 5, 2025) Fresh cut Christmas Trees await visitors during a Trees for Troops giveaway onboard Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. The highly anticipated event attracted scores of attendees who received free fresh cut Christmas Trees. It also allowed an opportunity for attendees to partake in various holiday themed activities that were a delight for visitors of all ages. This year’s event was again coordinated by the installation’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department and augmented by volunteers from various commands onboard the installation.
