Rep. Sarah Elfreth meets Corvias staff members to see refreshed privatized housing. These refreshed interiors for family housing will make the housing more attractive to incoming service members.
On Thursday, March 20, Rep. Sarah Elfreth (D-MD) visited Fort George G. Meade for the first time since elected to represent Maryland's 3rd congressional district in 2024. During her visit, Elfreth met with the Garrison Command team, and our community partners. Also during her visit, she toured a Child Development center, the new barracks construction site and family housing renovations. Service members ate lunch with the representative at the Freedom Inn Warrior Restaurant to discuss the jobs and their experiences serving our country. This visit allowed Elfreth to learn more about the Fort Meade mission, how we work with our surrounding communities and how we are working to improve the quality of life for our service members.
